Safadi underscored the need to maintain the ceasefire, implement all stages of the agreement, and create a genuine political horizon that leads to a just peace based on the two-state solution in accordance with international legitimacy and established references.
He also commended the significant efforts made by U.S. President Donald Trump in reaching the agreement, reiterating Jordan’s welcome of the U.S. proposal to halt the war, deliver aid to Gaza, prevent the displacement of Palestinians, and reject the annexation of the West Bank. Safadi affirmed that Jordan will continue working closely with the United States, as well as regional and international partners, to implement the U.S. proposal and advance peace efforts in the region.
The minister further expressed appreciation for Singapore’s steadfast support for the two-state solution as the only path to achieving a just and comprehensive peace.
